District of North Vancouver Municipal Hall — Building Envelope Repair Project

Spectrum Painting & Restorations Ltd. was engaged by RJC Engineering, acting as Building Envelope Consultant, to complete building envelope rehabilitation and maintenance at the District of North Vancouver Municipal Hall, the District’s primary municipal facility. The scope covered rehabilitation and renewal of critical envelope components, including curtainwall maintenance, replacement of deteriorated sealants and gaskets, structural silicone replacement at the main lobby glazing, replacement of existing punched window glazing with new curtainwall glazing assemblies, waterproofing upgrades, and metal flashing work. Because the facility remained occupied and operational throughout construction, the work demanded careful coordination with building operations and public access, phased execution, and comprehensive protection of adjacent finishes and infrastructure. Through close collaboration with the consultant and owner, Spectrum delivered technically demanding repairs with minimal disruption to building occupants.
