Kwantlen Polytechnic University Roof Coating Rehabilitation

Spectrum Painting & Restorations Ltd. was engaged to complete the roof-level coating rehabilitation scope at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU). The work involved surface preparation and application of high-performance coating systems to rooftop substrates, designed to protect against UV exposure, moisture ingress, and environmental wear. Spectrum was also responsible for designing and installing access systems — including scaffolding and suspended swing stages — to safely reach all work areas at elevation, enabling controlled execution across the building envelope. All work was completed to project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and site safety standards, with independent verification by a third-party MPDA inspector.

Scope
